Stella regrets sleeping with Andrew after discovering he only wanted her as his "first Black girl experience," launching her "40 Dates in 40 Nights" YouTube series. Aaron receives Roshan's number while his best friend Tony secretly pines for him. Charles's music dreams strain his relationship with Pam as financial troubles mount. Rain runs into Louis at the grocery store, stirring unresolved feelings. Charles confides he's been saving for Pam's engagement ring while David crashes at his place post-humiliation. Stella obsesses over Shawn ghosting her while Rain sends a bold text on her behalf. Jessica's stalker situation escalates with creepy surveillance texts. Aaron plans his second date with Roshan while Tony silently suffers.

Charles goes on a disastrous first date with Stella, arriving late after kissing Pam and confessing his OnlyFans addiction. David shares therapy insights with Charles, challenging him to figure out what he really wants.

Viral Disease 

Aaron catches Roshan leaving a pup party and ends their relationship, devastated by the betrayal. Stella's roast video of Charles goes viral with 500K followers, publicly humiliating him as "Cheese No Mac" while making her semi-famous. Rain cheats on Louis with David at the gym, then confesses—Louis ends things definitively after making her a romantic breakfast. David struggles with his therapist's celibacy challenge but ultimately caves. Jessica gets a hostess job at Charles's restaurant. Tony almost confesses to Aaron twice but can't do it.

Leave the Door Open

Everyone receives invitations to Aaron's LoveCity "Heartbreak Party" event. Tony finally confesses his love to Aaron but is rejected. Aaron and Roshan have an emotional goodbye, acknowledging their relationship can't work. Rain loses Louis forever after being caught making out with David. Jessica and Lee have a tentative reconciliation—he misses her but doesn't trust her yet. Charles reconciles with Pam, committing to therapy. Stella faces a choice between Mateo's New York trip and a Bali brand deal, torn between romance and career.

With a sharp pen and a cinematic eye, Mercy brings each character to life with wit, honesty, and femme fatale flair. City of Hearts is her directorial debut under her production company, Femme Fatale Films.
